Two women have been arrested following an altercation with a group of President Donald Trump supporters outside the Democratic National Convention last week.

The video: Footage of the incident, which took place in Wilmington, Delaware on Thursday, was shared to Twitter by the Students for Trump organization and quickly went viral.

The boy’s mother, Abbey Wigton, 27, filmed the women taking pro-Trump signs and apparel.

  • Fully aware: As the two women tear up pro-Trump signs, Wigton, a Turning Point USA field director, asks if they are destroying her property, to which one replies, “Yes, we are.”
  • Stop, thief! One woman takes a hat off the sidewalk, after which Abbey’s son Riley, 7, begins running after them, saying, “That’s somebody else’s hat!”
  • Attack, attack: The segment ends when one of the assailants approaches Wigton and apparently begins to try to hit her.

Trump Organization executive vice president Donald Trump Jr. shared the clip, which has racked up more than 5 million views on Twitter.

The crime: Wilmington police arrested Olivia Winslow, 21, and Camryn Amy, 21, on charges related to the incident.

  • According to a Wilmington Police Department press release, Amy faces charges of first-degree robbery, second-degree conspiracy, offensive touching and endangering the welfare of a child.
  • Winslow faces charges of second-degree robbery, second-degree conspiracy and endangering the welfare of a child.

In a statement, Wigton said, “They ripped the sign from my arms and assaulted my seven year old son. The Joe Biden supporters laid hands on my child and ripped his ‘Make America Great Again’ hat from his head while cursing at him and pushing him over.”

  • “If children aren’t off limits to their violence – who is?” the statement concluded.

According to Turning Point USA Chief Creative Officer Benny Johnson, Riley received a call from the White House after the attack, as well as a “very special replacement hat.”
