Twitter users have noticed that George Floyd’s daughter didn’t seem impressed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s latest tribute to her and her late father.
The moment: Pelosi told reporters at the U.S. Capitol Tuesday that a prediction by Gianna Floyd, 7, that “my daddy will change the world” is “coming true.”
- Gianna, who was standing next to Pelosi along with other members of George Floyd’s family, responded by making a face.
Pelosi also said Democrats hope to pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act in a form that meets Gianna’s standards.
Over the past year, even fellow liberals have more than once cringed at Pelosi’s tributes to Floyd.
