Tucker Exposes Top Dem Senator’s Hypocrisy on Mask-Wearing With Damning Photos

Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Monday unmasked Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s apparent hypocrisy when it comes to personal protective equipment against the coronavirus.

The photos: Carlson recalled that Feinstein, a California Democrat, in late June sent a letter to the Federal Aviation Authority demanding a mask mandate at airports and on airplanes nationwide.

The host — a sometimes-skeptic of the U.S. coronavirus response — simultaneously broadcast a series of photos he said showed Feinstein going mask-less at Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C., on Friday.

  • “Well, given that, today, this show exclusively obtained photographs of — and this is going to rock your world — Dianne Feinstein in a private terminal at Dulles Airport — an FBO as they say in private aviation — on Friday,” Carlson said.
  • “In the photographs, Feinstein can be smiling without a mask on. One might even say she’s sowing confusion about whether or not masks are necessary,” Carlson added, mockingly using language from Feinstein’s FAA latter.
  • Carlson predicted Feinstein would deny any responsibility for her behavior — as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a fellow California Democrat, did earlier this month after she was caught on camera visiting a San Francisco hair salon that was shuttered as part of a coronavirus lockdown.

Feinstein’s office did not respond to Carlson’s request for comment.

Masks for thee, but not for me: At the same time Feinstein sent her letter to the FAA, she penned a similar missive to the Federal Transit Administration urging masks be required on all public transportation.

  • Then, on July 16, Feinstein called for federal coronavirus aid to the states to be conditioned on their implementing mask mandates.
  • The following week, she pushed for a national mask requirement, echoing Pelosi.
  • Feinstein has cited the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendation that everyone over the age of 2 wear a mask in public to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden repeatedly advocated a federally imposed mask mandate before recently admitting the idea might be unconstitutional.
