CNN Host Asks Where It Says Protests Must Be Peaceful – Guy Eating Ramen Goes Viral for His Answer

A little-known Oregon man rocketed to national stardom on Sunday after he casually fact-checked a CNN anchor’s attempt to defend violent anti-racism protests.

Earlier this month, Chris Cuomo, joined a number of journalists and prominent liberals in defending rioting amid nationwide demonstrations over the death of George Floyd, a black man who died during a May 25 arrest by Minneapolis police.

  • Speaking on “Cuomo Prime Time,” the host rhetorically asked viewers “where it says protesters are supposed to be polite and peaceful.”

In a 15-second TikTok video posted Friday, the Oregon man pointed Cuomo to the Wikipedia page for the U.S. Constitution while munching on a bag of Ramen noodles.

The reaction: The clip went viral on TikTok before causing a sensation on conservative Twitter, where it has been viewed nearly 6 million times.

Blogger Stephen Miller hailed the little-known young man, who has yet to be identified, as a “king.”

Washington Examiner reporter Jerry Dunleavy declared the video a work of art.

The Blaze’s Jessica Fletcher said the man had won the right to take over “Cuomo Prime Time.”

Justsomedude187’s other TikTok videos, which have rarely cracked triple-digits in views, feature a mix of odd-ball observations and offbeat conservative commentary.

  • For example, his five previous posts featured him promoting his new floor fan, meditating on the mysteries of human speech while driving, menacingly calling House Speaker Nancy Pelosi a “big pee-pee pooh-pooh head” and — in a two-part special — finding and then capturing a spider in his home.

The man did not immediately respond to a request for an interview about his artistic method, his politics and his iconic status on the right.
