Chinese officials touted President Joe Biden’s chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan last year to “erode” the United States’ stature and influence in diplomatic talks with world leaders, according to a Pentagon report released Tuesday.
- In August 2021, Biden described the withdrawal, which was criticized by both Republicans and Democrats, as an “extraordinary success.”
TRUMP FIRES BACK AT MITCH MCCONNELL
Former President Donald Trump told Fox News on Tuesday that Mitch McConnell is a “loser for our nation and the Republican Party.”
- Trump was responding to the Senate minority leader’s criticism of the former president’s recent meeting with Kanye West, also known as Ye, and right-wing provocateur Nick Fuentes – both of whom have been accused of anti-semitism.
- “There is no room in the Republican Party for antisemitism or white supremacy. And anyone meeting with people advocating that point of view, in my judgment, are highly unlikely to ever be elected president of the United States,” McConnell said earlier on Tuesday.
