Recent reporting has spotlighted a “new” kind of sexual activity: “fluid bonding,” or sharing bodily fluids via normal sexual activities like intercourse and kissing.

THE NASTY

According to sexual health experts, “fluid bonding” involves a conscious decision to share bodily fluids with a sexual partner.        

“Fluid bonding is where you and your lover(s) decide not to use barriers during your sexual experiences,” sexologist Marla Renee Stewart told MindBodyGreen, a health website.

  • “Usually, unprotected sex is just a sort of casual, barrier-less erotic experience without the communication and intention that we’re doing this for a purpose.”
