NY Times Publishes ‘Complete List of Trump’s Twitter Insults’ — And It’s Amazing

The New York Times on Wednesday published what it said was a complete list of Donald Trump’s Twitter insults since he entered politics.

The insults: Organized alphabetically according to target, the 48,000 word compendium “documents the verbal attacks Mr. Trump posted on Twitter, from when he declared his candidacy in June 2015 to Jan. 8, when Twitter permanently barred him,” according to the creator, Times graphics editor and reporter Kevin Quealy.

Among the people and groups Trump criticized most verbosely were Hillary Clinton (1,843 words), Joe Biden (1,662), CNN (1,305 words), Democrats (3,770 words) and the mainstream media (5,367 words).

The reaction: Both Trump’s supporters and critics had to concede that the list, coming hours after he left office, was a truly historic document.

  • Several of the former president’s targets expressed pride in having been included.

Want more?: Immediately after Twitter booted Trump from its platform in the name of preventing “further incitement of violence,” conservative journalist Alex Griswold led a campaign to preserve “the good Trump tweets.”

Additional gems unearthed by Griswold and others can be found on his Twitter timeline, circa Jan. 8-9.
