Missouri Gun Shop Announces It Won’t Sell Firearms or Ammo to Biden Supporters

A Missouri gun shop’s post announcing it would not be selling ammunition or firearms to supporters of President Joe Biden has gone viral.

The post: Trigger Firearms and Reloading, located in Jefferson City, made the declaration on Wednesday, the same day Joe Biden was inaugurated as president in Washington, D.C.

  • “We don’t have guns or ammo for Biden Supporters. Sorry for the inconvenience,” the company said.
  • Trigger Firearm’s post racked up nearly 2,000 shares and more than 3.5 thousand comments.

Why does Trigger Firearms have a bone to pick with Biden and his voters? The president made firearms safety a plank of his 2020 campaign platform and his official website touts his gun control advocacy record.

  • Many pro-gun advocates view Biden’s stance on firearms as overly intrusive and the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund has given him an “F” rating.

The reaction: Conservatives and gun owners flocked to Trigger Firearm’s Facebook page to express support for the business’ swipe at Biden voters.

  • “This is the only place I want to buy guns from. Ya know what? Screw it, can I just send you cash?” commented Will Ricciardella, director of social media for the Washington Examiner.
  • Another commenter quipped: “We’re not supposed to arm the mentally ill anyway.”
