Maxine Waters Claims This Video Doesn't Show Chauvin Judge Saying She Might've Ruined Trial

Rep. Maxine Waters denied on Tuesday that the judge in Derek Chauvin’s trail had said her comments to protesters could be grounds for acquittal.

The denial: Waters, a California Democrat, made the denial to CNN reporter Manu Raju.

Just asked Maxine Waters about the judge’s rebuke of her words, and she said repeatedly: “The judge says my words don’t matter.” When pressed on the judge stating that her remarks could be grounds for appeal, she replied, “Oh no, no they didn’t.” What the judge said: https://t.co/gK7zqzOzuO
