NEW YORK SUES TRUMP: New York State Attorney General Letitia James filed a lawsuit today against Donald Trump and several of his family members, alleging the former president “falsely inflated his wealth by billions of dollars” to reap financial gains. The state is seeking $250 million in damages and has also referred the allegations to the IRS and the Manhattan district attorney. Read more.

SO…THE PANDEMIC’S NOT OVER?: President Biden told a Democratic National Committee fundraising audience in New York City yesterday that the pandemic, “basically is not where it was.” The president had been on the receiving end of fierce blowback from fellow liberals after he declared the COVID-19 pandemic “over” in an interview with “60 Minutes” that aired Sunday. MIGRANTS SUE DESANTIS: Three of the roughly 50 migrants flown to Martha’s Vineyard last week by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis have filed a class action lawsuit against DeSantis and Florida Department of Transportation Secretary Jared Perdue.
