PELOSI ATTACK SUSPECT OFFICIALLY CHARGED: David DePape, 42, has been charged with the attempted kidnapping of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as well as assault against her husband, Paul Pelosi, according to a federal complaint filed Monday. San Francisco’s prosecutor later announced six additional criminal charges against DePape. Read more.

San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said during a news conference today that it appears that based on the suspect's statements and comments made during the attack on Paul Pelosi that "this was politically motivated."

BOMBSHELL REPORT ON DHS TIES TO BIG TECH: The Department of Homeland Security has been working closely with major tech companies to combat “misinformation,” according to a report from The Intercept citing internal agency documents. Read more.

DATABASE WILL TRACK THREATS AGAINST OFFICIALS: A database built by researchers at Princeton University and the Anti-Defamation League will track threats and harassment against government officials across the country, Axios reported Tuesday. Read more.

FETTERMAN’S HOMETOWN PAPER ENDORSES OZ: Republican Mehmet Oz was endorsed Sunday by his Pennsylvania senate rival’s hometown newspaper, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
