EX-GF OF PAUL PELOSI’S ALLEGED ATTACKER SPEAKS: Oxane “Gypsy” Taub told the San Francisco Chronicle on Sunday that her ex-boyfriend, David DePape, has struggled with bouts of drug addiction and mental illness, including believing he was Jesus Christ for roughly a year. 42-year-old DePape is the suspect in last week’s home invasion attack on Paul Pelosi, husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. ABORTIONS FELL AFTER ROE ENDED: The number of legal abortions fell by around 6%,  or 10,000 procedures, in the two-month period following the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 case that established the constitutional right to abortion, The New York Times reported Monday. Read more.

BOLSONARO OUT: Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva narrowly defeated his right-wing opponent, Jair Bolsonaro, in a run-off election to become Brazil’s next president. As of Monday afternoon, Bolsonaro, who has been dubbed Brazil’s Donald Trump, had yet to concede to his leftist rival. Read more.
