Backlash? While Americans have generally backed Black Lives Matter and other racial justice protests in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death, there are signs public support may be waning amid radical rhetoric and violence by some activists.

Conservative pundits in particular have criticized Black Lives Matter’s practice of protesting even police shootings that appear to be justified.

A poll released by Fox News on Sunday found that 48 of likely voters describe the racial justice related unrest in cities like Portland, Kenosha and New York as riots.
