Joe Biden Struggles to Find Face Mask Inside His Own Pocket — Admits, ‘I’m in Trouble’

J

President Joe Biden spent more than 30 seconds looking for his face mask during an outdoor rally last week in Georgia, only to realize it had been in his pocket the whole time.

The moment: “I’m looking for my mask. I’m in trouble,” Biden said into the microphone as first lady Jill Biden, and Georgia Democratic Sens. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff helped him search for the face covering on stage in Duluth on Thursday.

  • Joe Biden, 78, who is fully vaccinated, finally unearthed the mask from a pocket of his pants and held it triumphantly aloft.

Come on, man!: Biden has had pocket problems before and has faced criticism for continuing to unnecessarily wear a mask.

  • Former New York Times opinion editor Bari Weiss in her Substack newsletter on Sunday called the president’s first address to Congress on Wednesday “hygiene-theater.”
  • Biden on Tuesday wore a mask to an outdoor news conference to announce that fully vaccinated Americans generally no longer need to wear a mask outdoors.
