1 in 5 Americans Think There Are Microchips Inside Covid Vaccines

1

According to a new study, 20% of Americans believe it is likely that COVID-19 vaccines contain microchips.

So what

A collapse of trust in institutions has made it easier for Americans – of all ideological stripes – to believe in truly outlandish sh*t.

The study

The YouGov/Economist poll asked respondents of the likelihood of the U.S. government using the coronavirus vaccine to microchip the American people.

  • 1 in 15 said they thought such a theory was “probably” or “definitely” true.
  • Less than half, 46%, said it was “definitely false.”
  • People ages 30-44 were the most likely to believe the theory.
To be fair

Americans could almost be forgiven for glomming onto ludicrous conspiracy theories considering the work the establishment media has done to destroy its credibility.
